PymeMad Nacional A.G. had a notable participation in the panel discussion "Chile, a Forestry Nation: Current Situation and Development for the Next Decade 2025-2035," held on Friday, July 4, at the Mitrinco Event Center in Concepción, where its president Michel Esquerre Dal Borgo presented the initiative "Aislacor, Future Solutions."

The event, organized by Empresas K&P to commemorate their 30th anniversary, brought together the main players in the Chilean forestry sector, including representatives from the public and private spheres, guilds, associations, and technology companies, who analyzed the current scenario and projections for the next decade.

Esquerré participated in the panel "Perspective of Guilds and Associations" alongside distinguished leaders such as José Carter Reyes (Aprobosque), Simón Berti Sanhueza (College of Forest Engineers), Ramón Figueroa Lizana (CORMA), and René Muñoz Klock (Acoforag). In his presentation, the leader addressed the current challenges of the small and medium-sized forestry enterprises sector and discussed innovation processes from SMEs, presenting the Aislacor project as an innovative solution for the future of the sector.

The seminar also featured the participation of authorities such as the Regional Governor of Biobío, Sergio Giacamán García; the president of CORMA, Rodrigo O'Ryan Blaitt; and the Acting Executive Director of CONAF, Rodrigo Illesca Rojas, who addressed issues of institutional framework and forestry development.

The event also included a panel on new technologies with representatives from leading forestry machinery suppliers such as Salfa, Latin Equipment Chile, Finning, Ponsse, Komatsu, CBI Chile, and Pewag, highlighting the sector's interest in modernizing its production processes.

PymeMad's participation in this important sectoral meeting reinforces the guild's commitment to the sustainable development of the Chilean forestry sector and its role as a spokesperson for the country's small and medium-sized timber enterprises, positioning itself as a relevant actor in the discussion about the future of the national forestry industry.
